Visual artist of Peruvian nationality residing in Guerrero - Mexico. She was born in 1974 in the City of Ica. From a very young age she had contact with the rural, warm and desert nature very common in homes in southern Peru.

He bears a tenebrist style in his theme and meaning full of ancestral and Genetic mysticism.

Visual artist of Peruvian nationality residing in Guerrero - Mexico. She was born in 1974 in the City of Ica. From a very young age she had contact with the rural, warm and desert nature very common in homes in southern Peru.


She began her study in 1993 in her hometown and in 1995 she moved to the prestigious Escuela Nacional Superior Autónoma de Bellas Artes del Perú. She graduated in 2004 as one of the best emerging artists of the 2000 generation.


He is an artist who starts from chance and from the moment. Rafael takes advantage of chance, the stain and the effect achieved, to start composing and creating from there.


He bears a tenebrist style in his theme and meaning full of ancestral and Genetic mysticism.


His Painting is sustained within the Informalism conjugating with the neofigurative, coming to group the neofigurative with the abstract.


Rafael shows us throughout his career an incessant search for his ancestors and his connections with the micro, macro and cosmos. In all of his works, the weave, the plot, the warp, and the relevant textures conceived for his proposal are present. He relates those elements to man. Essential element of evolution, which weaves the way to associate as part of nature.
